A man was seen and heard making Nazi comments such as "Heil Hitler" and "Get lost you bloody Jew".
Three policemen who were just metres away from the Neo Nazi and ignored the footie fans actions have now been identified.
The event happened as the fans of SK Rapid and PAOK Saloniki gathered in the city centre before their clash with PAOK Saloniki.
It is alleged that when the Rabbi asked the policemen if they were going to do anything against the man the officers replied. "No, today is football."
As the Rabbi asked police it is alleged the man continued to do Heil Hitler salutes.
The Rabbi then went along officially to report the incident after police in the area failed to take any action.
The police involved are now being questioned and the case will be passed on to Vienna's public prosecutor.
Police have so far been unable to trace the man and believe he is a German speaking Greek.
